Job Summary

In your role at Cox Media, you will connect clients with today's top sports, entertainment, and information networks through various channels, including streaming, digital video, display, and paid search. You will build and maintain strategic client relationships, identify marketing needs, and create customized campaigns that achieve tangible results.

What You'll Do

As a Digital Advertising Account Executive, you will assist business clients in navigating the current landscape of digital advertising strategies to foster growth and engagement. Your expertise will help them understand complex buying cycles, build brand authority, and generate qualified leads through innovative, data-driven campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Sell a combination of customized advertising solutions across Cox Media's multichannel portfolio, which includes TV, digital video, streaming, display, social media, and paid search.
Create and deliver engaging presentations and proposals that demonstrate the value of Cox Media's advertising solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, research, digital) for seamless campaign execution and high client satisfaction.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting to support strategic planning and revenue growth.
Maintain precise records of sales activities and client communications in CRM systems.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities; represent Cox Media in the local community to generate leads.

Who You Are

Skills and Requirements

Minimum

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in a relevant sales field. A master's degree with up to 2 years of experience or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
Demonstrated success in sales and business development, with a strong record of identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and exceeding sales goals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals and develop long-term partnerships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

Preferred

Experience in prospecting and engaging new and existing clients to understand their goals and design tailored advertising strategies.
Familiarity with multi-platform digital advertising and media solutions.
Interactive Advertising Bureau certification and/or Google AdWords certification.
Understanding of CRM systems and sales tools to manage pipelines and track performance.
Comfortable in a hybrid work environment, fostering teamwork, innovation, and client-focused strategies with three days of in-person collaboration.

Salary Range: USD 28,600.00 - 42,800.00 per year. Compensation includes a base salary that may vary depending on location and candidate experience. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target ranging from $42,800.00 to $64,400.00.

Benefits
