Community Outreach/Media Marketing Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Office Assistant & Media Marketer to support daily office operations, patient communication, digital marketing efforts, and community outreach initiatives. This unique hybrid role combines administrative coordination, content creation, and relationship-building within the healthcare community.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable in a clinical setting, and confident representing the practice at external events and outreach visits.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Content Development

• Develop weekly social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Assist with podcast planning, scripting, and promotion
• Update website blog content monthly
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns and promotional strategy

Community Outreach & Events

• Visit local medical provider offices to build referral relationships
• Represent the practice professionally within the community
• Plan and attend community health events
• Network in the community
• Host community events promoting VBHG, wellness, and our services
• Assist with school presentations and PTA outreach initiatives

Administrative & Office Support

• Provide general administrative support, including patient correspondence, document preparation, and filing
• Answer and direct phone calls professionally
• Assist with new patient call intake and follow-up communication
• Maintain organized office systems and ensure the office remains well-stocked and tidy
• Support management with reports, presentations, and special projects

Qualifications

• Previous experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or other related fields
• Familiarity with social media marketing strategies
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Outgoing and willing to engage in the community
