Position Summary

This internship supports lead generation and digital marketing efforts by helping identify target organizations, reach decision-makers, strengthen digital content, and improve marketing workflows. The role combines research, outreach, content creation, and basic performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead research & list building: Identify target organizations (e.g., schools, businesses, agencies, healthcare), locate relevant contacts (IT, procurement, operations), and maintain accurate lead lists/CRM records.
  • Outreach & follow-up: Draft and send professional outreach emails, manage follow-up cadence, and document outcomes to support consistent pipeline development.
  • Email marketing support: Assist with creating and organizing templates and short sequences, maintaining contact segments, and tracking metrics such as opens, replies, and meetings scheduled.
  • Digital content creation: Develop concise content for LinkedIn and other channels, including short posts and simple graphics aligned with core services and value propositions.
  • Website & marketing asset updates: Support updates to service descriptions, FAQs, and one-pagers to ensure messaging is clear, current, and consistent across channels.
  • Reporting & process organization: Produce a basic weekly activity report (leads added, outreach volume, responses, content output) and help document repeatable marketing processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow-ups consistently
  • Interest in lead generation and outbound outreach, with a professional communication style
  • Strong written communication skills for email and short-form marketing copy
  • Ability to create and edit simple digital content (social posts, basic graphics, light web copy)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to SEO/SEM concepts (keywords, search visibility, paid search basics)
  • Ability to interpret campaign performance and recommend adjustments
  • Prior internship/work experience or coursework in marketing, communications, or business
