City of BransonPOSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Specialist develops and implements communication, branding, and marketing strategies that promote department programs, facilities, community events, tournaments, and tourism-related activities. The Marketing Specialist collaborates with various divisions within the Parks Department and external marketing partners to ensure brand consistency and promotional activities. This position enhances community engagement and boosts tourism-related visibility. This position works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director and the Director of Parks and Recreation.

Requires a regular and consistent physical presence in the City of Branson parks and recreation facilities. The duties and responsibilities required for this position include the following:
- Plan, manage and execute marketing campaigns, initiatives and promotional activities, including social media, email marketing, and community events.
- Communicate information concerning Parks and Recreation services, programs and events across multiple channels including digital, social media, web, email and print.
- Plans, organizes and coordinates public relation activities through social media platforms such as public outreach activities, park openings, and special events.
- Lead advertising and promotional initiatives that drive revenue for recreation facilities, sports programs, special events and rentals.
- Leads the community marketing and sponsorship program.
- Assists in developing, presenting, and implementing deliverables for the department's sponsorship and community marketing partner program.
- Plans, organize and coordinates sponsor activation and engagement materials, including hosting booths and tables during tournaments to promote community marketing partners.
- Responsible for the development of the annual marketing calendar.
- Creates marketing materials such as flyers, digital ads, presentations and social media posts.
- Ensure all marketing efforts adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Maintains the accuracy of all information through effective web content management.
- Capture and edit photos, videos and media at events, programs, and other activities.
- Establish, build, and develop relationships with community partners, businesses, and other stakeholders. Represent the organization at community events and networking functions.
- Track marketing performances (key performance indicators, impressions, interactions, etc.) and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives. Creation of reports to analyze marketing performance.
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends and new opportunities.
