Chai Spice is a fast-growing Canadian CPG brand bringing authentic masala chai to retail shelves and online customers across Alberta. As we expand distribution, we are building a stronger ecommerce engine to drive direct-to-consumer growth.

We are seeking an Ecommerce Growth Lead to take ownership of paid acquisition and online revenue performance for a focused 3-month growth sprint, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

This is a hands-on, performance-driven role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a structured paid media strategy while improving conversion performance within Shopify.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads (Search and Shopping)
• Develop and optimize Meta ad campaigns (retargeting and prospecting)
• Ensure accurate tracking setup (GA4, Meta Pixel, Conversion API)
• Improve conversion rates through Shopify optimization and landing page testing
• Monitor and optimize CAC, ROAS, and AOV
• Collaborate with the content team to test and iterate creative assets
• Build reporting dashboards and document processes for long-term sustainability

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

• Clean, reliable tracking and structured ad accounts
• Measurable ecommerce revenue growth
• Identified and scaled high-performing campaigns
• Documented paid media framework and SOPs for future continuity

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing paid media for ecommerce brands
• Strong experience with Google Search and Shopping strategy
• Demonstrated success scaling Meta campaigns
• Experience improving conversion rates on Shopify
• Strong analytical and performance-driven mindset
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of results

Preferred Experience

• CPG or food brands
• Subscription-based ecommerce
• Early-stage brand growth

Eligibility

Open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. This role is based in Calgary and requires in-person collaboration at Chai Spice HQ.
