Content and SEO Manager

Mission
AspenClean is looking for purpose-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team. As a Content & SEO Manager you will lead brand-focused content strategy and execution.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, ecommerce, and organic growth. You will own and evolve AspenClean’s voice across digital platforms while driving measurable growth through SEO, high-converting ecommerce content, and compelling storytelling.
Our professional cleaning services business (Canada-only) remains important, but this role is primarily focused on product expansion and international growth.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Product Storytelling
- Lead messaging and positioning for AspenClean’s product line
- Translate USPs into clear consumer benefits
- Create lifecycle email flows (welcome, replenishment, cross-sell)
- Support paid advertising with aligned messaging
- Contribute to campaign concepts and seasonal storytelling
- Develop messaging frameworks for product launches and international markets
- Ensure consistency across ecommerce, retail, email, social, and paid campaigns
SEO & Organic Growth
- Own and execute AspenClean’s focused SEO strategy
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
- Optimize product pages, collections, and landing pages for rankings and conversion
- Develop pillar content and topic clusters to build authority in plant-based home care
- Track and report on organic traffic, rankings, and performance metrics
Ecommerce Content Creation (Hands-On)
- Write high-converting product descriptions and collection pages
- Create comparison pages and ingredient education content
- Develop launch landing pages and promotional campaigns
- Produce long-form SEO blog content aligned with growth goals
International Expansion Support
- Adapt messaging for global markets
- Support localization efforts
- Research cultural positioning considerations
- Ensure brand integrity while scaling internationally
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of in-house or agency experience in copywriting, content, SEO, or product marketing
- Exceptional writing skills across long-form and short-form formats
- Strong understanding of SEO and search intent
- Experience optimizing ecommerce product pages for conversion
- Comfortable balancing creativity with performance metrics
- Comfortable working collaboratively while maintaining autonomy and ownership over projects
- Experience in DTC, CPG, home, wellness, or sustainability brands preferred
- Experience supporting international growth is an asset
