Description
The Paid Media Specialist is an entry-level media professional responsible for executing and optimizing paid media campaigns across digital channels. This role supports cross-functional teams with day-to-day campaign management while focusing on growing strategic planning and storytelling capabilities across channels.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Optimization
  • Manage search and paid social campaigns across assigned clients.
  • Conduct KPI discovery, keyword research, and competitor analysis for SEM campaigns.
  • Implement audience segmentation and manage bidding strategies.
  • Execute, optimize, and report on campaigns to achieve client objectives (fundraising, engagement, advocacy, lead generation).
Media & Budget Management
  • Support day-to-day media buying across assigned accounts.
  • Monitor campaign pacing to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Maintain accuracy in setup, tracking, and reporting.
Collaboration & Growth
  • Partner with creative and technical teams to implement campaign requirements.
  • Apply digital advertising trends and best practices to improve performance.
  • Operate effectively within a remote, collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in at least one of the following:
    • Google Ads (Search, Display, and Video certifications current)
    • Microsoft Ads
    • Paid Social
    • Programmatic
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • Experience analyzing campaign data and performance metrics.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms, SEM principles, audience targeting, and performance KPIs.
  • Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a remote team environment.
