**Position Overview**

The E-Commerce Coordinator is responsible for site maintenance/updates, platform conversions, and system enhancements.

  • *Duties & Responsibilities**:
  • Manage and execute backend of Magento Store and front-end display.
  • System enhancements including new extension Discovery & QA.
  • Ability to respond to internal and external site escalations within our current freshdesk system.
  • Managing Development team members tasks, creating work of scope and QA development. Keep timelines
  • aligned with quarterly initiatives.
  • Responsible for site merchandising including category assignment, product logic implementation, search results
  • and testing, maximizing sales opportunities, seasonal priorities, trending products, new arrivals, carousels on
  • various pages.
  • Assist with the monitoring of web analytics to increase site speed, optimize navigation & customer paths, and
  • checkout conversion rate to deliver continuous improvement on KPIs.
  • Participate in development of online customer experience by understanding the journey and interdepartmental
  • troubleshooting with the operation's customers needs and new feature requests.
  • Monitor and advise on ecommerce sales performance and contribute to online marketing strategies.
  • marketing validation, accuracy of promotions and discounts. A to Z testing.
  • Customer service assistance as needed with both online segments; B2B & B2C. Including leading customer-facing
  • conversations in troubleshooting & new functionality discovery conversations.
  • Leading the ecommerce projects to identify areas of opportunity to drive results, proposing strategic
  • development and executing based on the overall objective.
  • Manage day-to-day eCommerce operations and recovery operations during site outages.
  • Support CRM and other D2C tools to drive revenue growth for the D2C channel. Including roadmap management
  • with customer feature feedback requests and up-to-date platform integration mapping documentation.
  • Strategize and leverage digital content to drive increased traffic.
  • Analyze data, trends and key consumer behaviors and make fact-based recommendations
  • Stay up to date on eCommerce new tools and best practices for online growth opportunities. Lead
  • implementation & execute partnership software integrations to our Magento platform. Including our current PIM
  • integration with Magento, Akeneo.
  • Create internal communications, departmental reporting and operations training documentation.
  • Maintain our customer facing FAQ’s as new functionality becomes available and existing functionality is
  • enhanced.
  • Collaborate with marketing, planning and customer care departments for alignment and ongoing analysis, issues,
  • opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Assist with other departments and other duties as required.
  • *Qualifications**:
  • *Experience**:
  • 5+ years of related work experience with progressively larger responsibility
  • 2-3 years of industry experience in the B2B and B2C segments.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in managing projects.
  • Experience with working with Magento platform
  • High-level knowledge in API configurations is considered an asset, but not required.
  • Management of broad projects both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable being both a strategist and a tactician.
  • Flexibility in terms of hours of work, recognizing that there will be a need for launch related activities (testing).
  • *Education**:
  • Post-secondary education preferred or relevant experience
