Job Summary
· Establish a rapport and educate referral sources and community partners, both medical and non-medical, on the benefits of home care in general, and FirstLight HomeCare specifically highlighting key differentiators.
· Build and nurture meaningful and productive relationships with referral sources that can provide FirstLight HomeCare with ongoing consistent clients referrals.
· Leverage presentations, face-to-face meetings, phone calls, follow-up emails, information sessions, etc. to grow business through direct referrals.
· Works in a team with other members of the FirstLight team (Scheduler, Office Manager, etc.), to monitor goals as they pertain to billable hours, number of clients, and/or revenue.
Qualifications
· College degree in Business, Marketing, Social Work or Health Care, along with two years related business development experience and/or training desired but not required.
· Candidates with a High School degree or an Associate degree in Business, Marketing or Health Care will also be considered if they have desirable blend of traits, skills and/or relevant experience.
· Experience in home care or senior care industry preferred but not required.
· Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, presentation skills and relationship building skills as well as a positive, professional, business image.
· Self-motivated, energetic and dynamic.
· Knowledge of how to position as community resource and guide.
· Passionate about networking with people and building long term relationships.
· Understanding of the level of commitment, dedication and consistency of networking in this industry.
· Strong abilities, compassion and empathy to connect with referral sources and gain their trust
· Should have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Essential Functions
· Seek out networking opportunities on a proactive basis and develop relationships with various Community Partners and Referral Sources including social workers, case managers, discharge planners, doctors and earn referrals.
· Conduct 10-12 visits per day to Referral Sources – mix of medical and non-medical / new and follow up calls as required.
· Collaborate with Supervisor / Office Manager and develops a Networking plan as well as actively follow it as a working tool, which is revisited as requested/needed.
· Visit existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships.
· Update prospects, clients, and referral sources database for contact/and or mailing lists in the CRM system
· Manage and track Networking efforts and review them with supervisor on a weekly basis.
· Create and execute a sales plan to meet monthly and quarterly revenue
· Represent FirstLight Home Care and participate in community events, health fairs, networking groups, conferences, expos, and vendor gatherings especially as they relate to the senior population.
Required
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and good driving record. Must be fluent in English and legally authorized to work in United States.
