Job Description

Content Creation & Design

  • Proactively develop and manage engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, email, website, and digital campaigns.
  • Support the Marketing team with the development of the annual content calendar.
  • Create on-brand graphics and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and HubSpot design tools.

Digital Marketing

  • Under direction from the Digital Marketing and Design Lead:
  • Update website content regularly.
  • Update content in other channels (brochures, digital screens, etc.).
  • Provide administration support with CRM.
  • Provide marketing and brand support for digital banking platforms and projects.

Community Engagement

  • Work with the Social Purpose and Event Specialist to support our Truly Local Commitment programming, share member stories, and represent PenFinancial at community events.

Ca Campaign Execution

  • Working with the Product Marketing Manager, support the planning and execution of traditional advertising, including radio, out-of-home, and print.
  • Execute digital marketing campaigns across email, social, and paid channels.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track KPIs (e.g. website traffic, social engagement, conversion rates) and department budget.
  • Update marketing dashboards with KPIs and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide monthly marketing reports with actionable insights.

Marketing Administration

  • Work closely with internal departments to triage and support incoming marketing requests.
  • Support the delivery of internal communications.
  • Manage marketing materials inventory, including swag items, branch collateral (brochures, passbooks, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing (financial services experience is an asset but not required).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work across departments and with external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced small team environment where you may wear multiple hats.
  • Willing to take initiative, bring fresh ideas, and execute them with minimal supervision.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Proven familiarity with digital tools (e.g. social media platforms, email marketing software, CMS, productivity tools).
  • Basic to intermediate design experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and HubSpot.
  • Some travel within the Niagara Region will be required to support community activation and attend meetings.

Additional Information

Target Salary: $52,428

Salary Range: $49,345 - $61,680

Salary will be determined based on skills, experience, education and other qualifications relevant to this position.
