Parasol Co

Location: Sydney Mines

About Parasol Co

Parasol Co () is a fast-growing premium baby care brand offering diapers and wipes across multiple sales channels, including Shopify, Amazon, and major retail partners. We operate with a lean, highly collaborative team and rely heavily on well-implemented systems to scale efficiently as the business grows.

The Role

We’re looking for an E-Commerce Systems & Operations Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our e-commerce platforms and lead the configuration, implementation, and ongoing management of our systems.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role

. You’ll work closely with the CTO, who defines system requirements and selects platforms, while you take ownership of implementation, configuration, rollout, and daily operational reliability.

If you enjoy making systems actually work in real-world operations—and keeping things running smoothly as complexity increases—this role is for you.

What You’ll Do E-commerce Operations

  • Own day-to-day operations across Shopify, Amazon, and retail integrations
  • Troubleshoot order, inventory, fulfillment, and system-related issues
  • Manage platform configurations, apps, settings, and workflows
  • Act as the first point of escalation for e-commerce operational issues

Systems Implementation & Management

  • Lead the configuration and rollout of new systems (e.g. inventory management, OMS, fulfillment tools)
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations and workflows
  • Own data mapping, testing, user setup, and go-live execution
  • Manage systems post-launch, including updates, refinements, and optimizations
  • Ensure system data (inventory, orders, fulfillment) is accurate and reliable

Project Execution

  • Own timelines and execution for e-commerce and systems-related initiatives
  • Coordinate with outsourced development teams on technical tasks
  • Perform QA and validation before launches or changes go live
  • Ensure projects are delivered with minimal disruption to operations

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and external partners (3PLs, vendors)
  • Communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly
  • Escalate issues to leadership with context and recommended solutions

What Success Looks Like

  • E-commerce systems operate reliably without constant firefighting
  • New tools and platforms are implemented smoothly and adopted internally
  • Inventory and order data is accurate and trusted across channels
  • Projects move forward without requiring heavy CTO involvement
  • Issues are identified early and resolved proactively

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years experience in e-commerce operations, systems, or implementation roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify (apps, settings, workflows, integrations)
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central
  • Experience implementing or managing systems such as:
  • Inventory management systems
  • Analytics platforms
  • Comfortable coordinating with outsourced development teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, lean environment

Nice to Have

  • Multi-channel inventory experience
  • Experience working with 3PLs
  • Familiarity with GA4 or basic operational reporting
  • Experience in DTC or consumer product companies

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months
