Join our dynamic team as an e-Commerce Operations Supervisor, where you will take charge of the daily operations of our e-Commerce department, driving sales goals and exceeding customer expectations. Responsibilities

  • Ensure our e-Commerce department consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations for convenience, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
  • Conduct interviews and hire talented candidates to build a robust online shopping team.
  • Create work schedules aligned with product flow and operational guidelines.
  • Develop team members to meet productivity standards and certify them upon exceeding expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as food safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Train associates on all functions within the order selector and customer attendant roles.
  • Lead the planning and execution of e-Commerce initiatives to enhance customer experience.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets, wage budgets, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Analyze competitive landscape to inform operational strategies.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment, utilizing effective substitution practices when items are out of stock.
  • Streamline processes for order collection, product handling, checkout, and delivery.
  • Report inventory issues, such as out-of-stock items, to department heads promptly.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and devices in the e-Commerce department.
  • Communicate feedback to management regarding the effectiveness of operational plans and programs.
  • Monitor and control departmental expenses and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports, conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative environment in high-paced and sometimes stressful situations.
  • Manage conflict proactively and maintain a cooperative atmosphere among team members.
  • Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity.
  • Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proven supervisory experience.
  • Prior experience in the selection and hiring process.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the day.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, or crouch multiple times per hour.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities.

Desired

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
