Director, Omnichannel & Marketing Capabilities/AI
Kiniksa PharmaceuticalsReporting to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping Kiniksa’s marketing capabilities, owning the omnichannel roadmap and accelerating impact with innovative and AI solutions.
The successful candidate will combine strategic and technical expertise, leveraging deep knowledge of Marketing Technology to progress key platform and ecosystem capabilities. This individual will lead the design and implementation of the omnichannel roadmap, with a specific hands-on focus on to orchestrate complex customer experiences. This high-visibility role will partner closely with Brand Marketers, Commercial Operations, and IT to translate commercial vision into a functional reality, ensuring campaigns are data-informed, automated, and scalable.

Our office-based employees work on an onsite schedule of four days onsite (Monday - Thursday) and one day remote in Lexington, MA. While we prioritize in-person teamwork, remote options will be considered for highly qualified individuals who can maintain strong engagement and collaboration in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities ( Including, But Not Limited To )
Omnichannel Roadmap & Business Architecture
- Own the omnichannel capability roadmap, defining business requirements, and partner with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and architectural design.
- Serve as the primary liaison between brand marketing and IT to prioritize and implement new platform features, connectors, and integrations.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and AI solutions to support evolving campaign needs and increase executional excellence.
MarTech Operations
- Serve as the hands-on business owner for Kiniksa’s MarTech platforms, including Drupal (AcquiaSiteStudio) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email and Contact Builder).
- Lead the development of a solution to increase content reuse and generation, utilizing DAM and CMS capabilities.
- Oversee and document the end-to-end technical production process for each platform.
Governance and Vendor Management
- Establish and enforce platform governance standards, including naming conventions, folder structures, and data privacy compliance (consent management/opt-outs) within the platforms.
- Manage the technical output of external development vendors and agencies to ensure it meets Kiniksa’s quality and security standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (playbooks, data dictionaries, process flows) to support knowledge transfer and platform operational consistency.
Qualifications And Experience
- Requires a BS degree (MBA or advanced degree is preferred) with10+years’ experience in digital transformation, digital marketing operations, and marketing technology strategy. Experience in life sciences or healthcare industry preferred.
- Hands-on platform experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
- Proven experience building and managing a marketing technology roadmap.
- Demonstrated success in defining, building, and scaling new capability, and leading through change.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Intense curiosity, collaborative spirit, empathy, and a passion for problem solving.
- The ability to champion change and drive innovative thinking.
- Excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multitask in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

The expected salary range for Director, Omnichannel & Marketing Capabilities/AI is $230,000 - $240,000 annually. Compensation decisions are based on objective criteria including role responsibilities, experience/qualifications, internal equity, geographic location, and external market benchmarks.
