Senior Agile Transformation Lead
Cox AutomotiveAs an essential partner to Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, and AI Transformation leaders, the Senior Agile Transformation Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Agile practices effectively enhance experimentation, model development, platform scalability, and the responsible adoption of AI. This role focuses on coaching, delivery outcomes, and the effective utilization of metrics, automation, and cutting-edge delivery tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Agile leader for multiple teams or programs, ensuring the consistent application of Scrum and Lean-Agile principles across the organization.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, and Retrospectives, with a focus on flow, outcomes, and ongoing learning.
- Coach teams to achieve self-organization, accountability, and high trust, particularly in dynamic AI and technology domains.
- Mentor Scrum Masters and team members, establishing standards and enhancing Agile maturity organization-wide.
AI & Technology Transformation Support
- Assist teams in delivering AI-enabled products, data platforms, and automation solutions, adapting Agile practices to suit research-heavy, iterative, and experimental work.
- Collaborate with AI, Data Science, and Engineering leaders to maintain a balance between discovery, experimentation, and efficient delivery.
- Promote Agile methodologies suitable for AI work, including hypothesis-driven development, spikes, dual-track Agile, and continuous validation.
- Champion responsible AI practices, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and compliance expectations.
Delivery, Flow & Predictability
- Enhance end-to-end delivery predictability through strategic planning, dependency management, and obstacle removal.
- Lead release planning and coordination across multiple teams or value streams, ensuring integration with platform and shared services teams.
- Proactively identify and resolve systemic impediments affecting tooling, environments, data availability, and decision-making latency.
- Collaborate with Engineering to support CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices that bolster speed, quality, and reliability.
Metrics, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain impactful delivery metrics (e.g., flow, predictability, throughput, quality signals) that facilitate data-informed decision-making.
- Utilize insights from metrics and retrospectives to drive focused improvement initiatives at both the team and program levels.
- Promote transparency through clear communication, visual management, and stakeholder-ready reporting.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication
- Serve as a trusted partner to Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and AI Transformation leaders.
- Facilitate alignment between business priorities, technical constraints, and delivery capacity.
- Clearly communicate risks, trade-offs, and progress to senior stakeholders while setting realistic expectations in complex AI and technology initiatives.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Must reside within a commutable distance to our Atlanta or Draper office.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
- 6+ years' experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Lead in technology-focused environments.
- Experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.
- Success in supporting complex, cross-functional teams delivering software, platforms, or data-centric solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and Agile-at-scale approaches (e.g., SAFe).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and systems-thinking abilities.
- Proven capability to thrive in environments characterized by ambiguity, experimentation, and swift change.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI, data, analytics, or platform engineering teams.
- Familiarity with AI/ML delivery concepts (e.g., model lifecycle, experimentation, data pipelines) without requiring hands-on data science expertise.
- Experience in large-scale or enterprise delivery settings.
- Proficiency with modern delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Miro).
- Agile coaching credentials.

Salary Range: USD 111,500.00 - 185,900.00 per year
Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $111,500.00 - $185,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
