Job Summary

As the Senior Marketing Manager, Sharp Safety Solutions, you will oversee the Sharps business portfolio's P&L in the US Region. Your role involves harnessing insights to formulate a growth plan for the Sharp Safety business, with direct management of up to 2 reports. Key responsibilities include developing pricing strategies, channel promotions, and empowering the Sales team to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor up to 2 direct reports, fostering their professional development.
  • Oversee US Regional revenue and profitability for specific product lines or portfolios.
  • Craft and implement channel-specific marketing strategies in close collaboration with Marketing Communications to create integrated promotional efforts.
  • Assist Channel Marketing leadership in enhancing the penetration of Cardinal Health branded products.
  • Act as the subject matter expert, working with clinical and sales teams to communicate product value and facilitate pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Contracting, Sales, and Product Management to optimize GPO/RPC contract strategies and value maximization.
  • Conduct thorough competitive intelligence analysis to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Propose new product introductions or adjustments based on growth goals and market trends.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to share field insights with key stakeholders.
  • Lead planning and execution of in-channel product launches, including promotional campaigns.
  • Create sales tools and training resources to empower field representatives in effectively positioning and selling the product portfolio.
  • Monitor market trends impacting sales and distribution, ensuring long-term product profitability.
  • Support the creation of stakeholder analyses, competitive assessments, and messaging platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across various departments such as product management, finance, and sales to align on key objectives.
  • Translate market insights into actionable strategies that drive sales and profitability.
  • Stay updated on market trends and product lifecycle implications, recommending strategies for sustained competitiveness.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of marketing strategies, including pricing, planning, and competitive positioning.
  • Utilize strong financial acumen in pricing decisions and financial impact assessments.
  • Work effectively across multiple functions, including IT, operations, and sales.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in a relevant field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in analytics, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation are essential.
  • Ability to persist and overcome challenges effectively.
  • Capable of identifying and resolving issues promptly and making informed monetary and strategic decisions.
  • Adept at integrating complex information into clear presentations and plans.
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive under pressure, and have a bias for action.
  • Strong financial acumen with previous P&L ownership preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Location: This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, with a preference for candidates near the Dublin, OH office. Candidates should be available to work during EST or CST business hours.

Anticipated Salary Range: $105,100 - $150,000
