E-Commerce Sales Manager / Customer Services Assistant

ServiceX LTD

About Us

We are a fast-paced e-commerce company specializing in a massive catalog of IT equipment and consumer electronics. With thousands of products in our catalogue, we rely on smart, data-driven strategies to stay ahead. We are looking for a sharp, adaptable, and highly capable E-commerce Sales Manager to take the reins of our online storefronts, optimize our inventory, and drive our revenue upward.

The Role This is a high-impact role that blends commercial strategy, data analysis, and relationship management. You will be responsible for ensuring our vast inventory is not only visible but competitively priced and actively selling. Working with large datasets and multiple e-commerce tools, you will be the commercial engine of our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Catalog & Pricing Mastery: Ensure every item in our extensive inventory is accurately listed and visible. Monitor market trends to keep pricing highly competitive while protecting margins, utilizing multiple e-commerce tools and platforms.
  • Strategic Promotions: Plan, launch, and oversee promotional campaigns to drive traffic and boost sales volume.
  • Inventory Lifecycle Management:
  • The Slow Movers: Analyze data to identify stagnant or aging stock, and proactively develop creative avenues and strategies to clear them out.
  • The Fast Movers: Spot trending and fast-selling products, using these insights to help source new, profitable lines and expand our catalog.
  • Customer & Team Collaboration: Act as the articulate voice of the company for pre-sales customer inquiries. Seamlessly liaise with internal staff to ensure customer support and post-sales issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Partner Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners. You will liaise directly with account managers at major marketplaces and shipping companies to resolve operational bottlenecks and negotiate better rates.

What We Are Looking For

  • Language & Communication: Absolute fluency in written and spoken English. You must be highly articulate with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of negotiating with partners and clearly communicating with customers and internal teams.
  • Data & Excel Power User: You must be highly comfortable handling large volumes of data. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory - you need to be able to quickly sort, filter, and drill down into spreadsheets with thousands of rows to extract actionable commercial information.
  • Sharp & Adaptable: We need someone who is genuinely clever, quick on their feet, and possesses the ability to learn new systems, tools, and market trends at a rapid pace.
  • Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of e-commerce dynamics, specifically within the fast-moving tech and electronics sector.
  • Marketplace Experience (Bonus): While not strictly required, prior experience managing sales on major platforms like Amazon and eBay, as well as standalone independent e-commerce websites, is highly preferred and will be considered a distinct advantage.

What We Offer

  • Great Culture: A relaxed and friendly working environment where good work is recognized and valued.
  • Family-Friendly Schedule: Strictly standard office hours (37.5 hours/week). We are completely closed on weekends and bank holidays, ensuring you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Time Off: 28 days of paid holiday per year.
  • Convenience: Easy, free parking available for all staff.
