Overview: The mission of Listerhill Credit Union is to be a financial cooperative focused on improving the lives, including financial health, in the community. In 1952, seven Reynolds Metals employees deposited $5 each with the idea of starting a credit union that was member-owned and member-focused. We serve multiple counties throughout northwest Alabama and south-central Tennessee with a full line of financial solutions. As the VP of Digital, you will serve as a transformative leader who will own and execute digital strategies creating, enhancing, and maintaining digital delivery across all channels. The main area of responsibility includes digital innovation, strategies, and implementations. This will be a highly visible role that will interact with all levels of the organization from individual team members to the Strategy team. The VP of Digital is accountable for digital strategy, delivery, optimization and governance of all member-facing and digitally enabled experiences. The role ensures digital channels drive member growth, engagement, operational efficiency, and competitive differentiation while maintaining compliance and security.
What you will do
- Design financial digital solutions that exceed member expectations and improves financial health and wellness
- Establish, monitor, and manage member journey, through process, metrics, and stakeholder relationships to ensure success of our digital strategies
- Work directly with the Strategy team on a business-driven approach to generating competitive differentiation that will lead to revenue growth and increased profitability, often by incorporating ideas and technologies from outside their traditional industry structures and conventions
- Develop and advance our digital ecosystem with a focus on convenience, engagement, and seamless member experience using design thinking across all channels, digital and physical
- Drive business lines towards constant digital evolution and away from traditional and longstanding business models; including a focus on social media, web or mobile applications, CRM integration and seamless solution
- Stay abreast of changing technologies and shifts in innovation that could be implemented by the Credit Union; embracing digital integration across channels for retail productivity wherever the member needs to engage the credit union
- Maintain a strong grasp of member needs, preferences, and expectations, proactively adjusting the digital experience for the credit union to be the leading provider in our market
- Foster and facilitate continuous development of new digital technologies, business models and solutions
- Familiarity with emerging technology trends and tools (e.g., analytics platforms, user experience principles)
- Champion acceptance of the credit union’s digital strategy throughout the organization
- Develop and execute a multi-year digital roadmap aligned to strategic plan Maintain key strategic partnerships integral to the digital strategy, identifying emerging technologies to advance the member experience Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- Eight to ten years of credit union, bank, or fin tech experience; a focus on customer/member expectations and current digital trends is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Securities, Finance, or Marketing required; Digital Technology is a preferred degree for this position
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, API’s, security, integrations, and digital adoption metrics
- Demonstrated path of dynamic leadership within previous organizations
- Experience supporting a company’s rapid growth is preferred
- Strong communication skills, managerial skills, critical thinking, and problem solving
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job
- Possess strong people skills for fostering a dynamic, collaborative, and creative environment
- Basic knowledge of change management
- Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation
