We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Warehouse E-commerce B2C (Business-to-Consumer) and B2B (Business-to-Business) Operations Manager to serve as the right hand to the owner. This pivotal role involves overseeing all facets of warehouse operations, supply chain management, and logistics to ensure seamless order fulfillment, inventory control, and process efficiency. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution activities for both B2C and B2B channels.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational processes using lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Oversee transportation management systems (TMS), freight planning, fleet management, and dispatching to ensure timely delivery across multiple channels.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and other supply chain partners to optimize service levels and cost efficiency.
- Monitor profit & loss statements, budgeting processes, and supply chain analytics to drive profitability and operational sustainability.
- Coordinate demand planning, production scheduling, procurement, purchasing, and materials management to meet customer demands while controlling inventory levels.
- Supervise warehouse staff including warehouse supervisors; foster a safe work environment while ensuring compliance with safety standards such as forklift operation certifications.
- Utilize ERP systems like AS400 or similar warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control, order processing, and data analysis.
- Drive process improvements through Lean initiatives, process mapping, and supply chain optimization strategies to enhance overall operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with shipping & receiving protocols, freight regulations, customs procedures (including NVOCC), and warehouse distribution standards.
- Oversee procurement activities related to materials purchasing, vendor negotiations, and inventory replenishment strategies aligned with demand forecasts.
Skills
- Extensive experience in operations management within warehousing or logistics environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles including inventory control, demand planning, procurement, transportation planning, and freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms such as AS400 or equivalent enterprise software solutions.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), fleet management tools, dispatching processes, and logistics analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies or continuous improvement frameworks.
- Skilled in budgeting, profit & loss analysis, cost control strategies, and supply chain analytics for data-driven decision making.
- Familiarity with 3PL providers’ operations including freight forwarding (NVOCC), customs procedures, shipping & receiving protocols.
- Hands-on experience supervising warehouse teams; capable of fostering teamwork while maintaining safety standards such as forklift operation certifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
