Marketing Apprentice – Level 3 (Digital & Multi-Channel Marketing)

Location: Head Office based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Contract: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Salary: Apprenticeship rate (dependent on age/experience)

Joseph Gallagher Limited is a leading civil engineering and construction business delivering projects across the UK and internationally. To support our company growth and brand presence, we are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Apprentice to join our team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to start a career in marketing while working towards a Level 3 Digital & Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship.

About The Apprenticeship

You’ll be enrolled on a Level 3 marketing apprenticeship, also called Digital Marketer or Multi-Channel Marketer, a nationally recognised qualification equivalent to A-levels. The programme develops practical marketing skills including digital campaigns, content creation, social media, analytics, customer engagement and brand awareness.

About The Role

As a Marketing Apprentice, you’ll support the marketing team with activities that promote our brand, engage customers, and drive demand for our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
• Helping to plan, create and publish content for social media and websites
• Supporting email marketing, blog writing and online engagement
• Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance and analytics
• Assisting with design and collateral updates
• Contributing to market research and audience insight
• Helping maintain the company’s brand voice and online presence

About You

We’re looking for someone creative, curious and eager to begin a career in marketing.

You will ideally have

• A strong interest in marketing, social media and digital content
• Good communication skills
• A willingness to learn and take initiative
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office / online tools)
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards them)

No prior marketing experience is required — just enthusiasm and a desire to learn.
