Marketing Summer Internship

Join Five Below’s Summer Internship Program to contribute to strategic marketing projects in a hybrid Philadelphia HQ setting.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing

• Develop fresh, personalized email messaging ideas based on customer persona research and competitive trends
• Create seasonal promotional story concepts for 5–6 unique audience segments
• Translate insights into polished slide decks with tailored storylines and A/B testing plans
• Engage in hands-on, results-driven projects that directly impact company initiatives
• Collaborate within a hybrid model, reporting to WowTown HQ Tues-Thurs
• Participate in day-to-day responsibilities and development programming

About You

The company is looking for

• Active enrollment as a rising Junior, Senior, Graduate Student, or recent Graduate with a relevant background; associate’s certificate holders may be considered if skills fit project requirements
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office products and remote meeting software
• Availability for the full 10-week program (June 1 – August 7)
• Self-starter with high passion and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and effective communication skills
• Knowledge and passion for the Five Below brand is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective critical thinking, problem solving, and project management abilities
• Demonstrated professionalism

Compensation & Benefits

• Paid internship at $19.50 per hour
• Full-time, 40 hours per week for 10 weeks
• Hybrid work model with in-person presence at Philadelphia HQ (WowTown) Tuesday through Thursday
