Stock Distribution & e-Commerce Manager (Retail)

· Do you have the knowledge and experience to oversee the day-to-day operation of stock space, ensuring donated stock is sorted, processed, and stored efficiently?

· Can you proactively allocate and distribute stock to shops, considering space, demand and performance?

· Do you have the knowledge to identify high-value or suitable stock for e-commerce

· Can you encourage Gift Aid sign-ups at point of donation, ensuring correct documentation and compliance?

· Are you enthusiastic and self-motivated and enjoy leading and managing a team of both staff and volunteers to coordinate the organisation, storage and movement of donated goods within the warehouse?

If you have the ability to

· Apply and share your knowledge and expertise within retail management including pricing, branding, merchandising, stock management

· Support shop operations by providing management cover when required

· Be adaptable to changing priorities and juggle multiple tasks and manage project work

· Problem solve and think creatively

· Coach, lead and develop a team

· Build relationships, working sensitively on behalf of the Hospice

· Put safety first at work

A major part of our income is supported by our retail activity through our Shops & Furniture Hub. Our plans for the next 3 years to meet our strategic objectives include further growth following the construction of a new In-Patient Unit, and we are looking to take our Retail operation to the next level and increase our turnover whilst continuing to serve our community.

To achieve all this, we need enthusiastic, self-motivated and pro-active people who are focused, with an attention to detail and who share our values.

This is a full time, permanent role.

Salary: £25,760 to £27,476 (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time)
