Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. SEO Manager (Contractor) with 8+ years of hands-on experience in both technical and content SEO disciplines to join our digital marketing team. This role involves owning the site architecture, crawlability, content strategy, optimization, and performance measurement to boost organic search performance across traditional and AI-powered search platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, content, and marketing teams to deliver scalable, measurable SEO impacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO efforts including site architecture, crawl efficiency, and AI search readiness.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO content strategy, ensuring alignment with user intent and buyer journey stages.
• Conduct advanced keyword/topic research and lead on-page optimization efforts.
• Partner with engineering and content teams for proper SEO implementation and quality assurance.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance, conducting competitive analysis and adapting strategies proactively.

Must-Have Skills

• Profound expertise in technical SEO fundamentals and content strategy development.
• Experience with structured data implementation (JSON-LD / schema.org).
• Proficiency in enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Botify, SEMrush) and analytics platforms.

Industry Experience

• B2B SaaS or enterprise web environments preferred.
