Digital Advertising Specialist
AIM Media Texas/MyRGV.com partners with all types of businesses to lead their digital marketing efforts. PRIMARY PURPOSE The primary purpose of this position is to help businesses increase their sales/revenue by assessing their marketing and advertising needs. You will be selling our proven digital solutions. This is a new business development position. The ideal candidate should be confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones and possess good negotiation skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Relentlessly search for new business opportunities
Follow the consultative sales process; prospecting, pre-call planning, crafting the right solutions, presenting the solutions, closing the sales and account management
Position yourself as a trusted marketing resource for clients
Discover Up-sell opportunities for existing accounts
Utilize ASK CRM system to manage your business and activities
Actively implement action plans to achieve goals
Be a super user of all interactive products and have a deep knowledge of the digital ecosystem
Be a self-educator of the ever-changing technology of digital marketing
Produce accurate work, keeping adjustments to a minimum while adhering to deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned
EXPECTATIONS
Keep pipeline full of qualified prospects using all available resources
Minimum 15 prospects a week
Complete pre-call planning and research of these qualified prospects
Conduct a minimum of 10 needs analysis calls a week
Present a minimum of 8 customer centric solutions a week
Close a minimum of 5 solutions a week
Reach 100% of monthly sales goal
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Advanced training and or experience in sales, overcoming client objections.
Effectively uncover opportunities through needs analysis and proper solution selling.
Ability to think creatively and holistically along AIM Media’s product lines as it pertains to preparing plans and proposals
Ability to communicate in a persuasive manner in order to gain acceptance for yourself and your ideas
Strong oral presentation skills, ability to field questions from clients, idea share, use creative thinking
Proven track record and skill in closing the sale
Ability to be self-motivated and plan daily priorities in a way that ensures your success in a high sales closing ratio
Skilled in managing time wisely, leaving ample time in each day for high gain activities
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as familiarity with database programs
Ability to work with teams while treating clients, both internal and external, with dignity and respect
Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance
Must be reliable, sincere and passionate about making a difference

REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma or GED (Required) Prefer some college
2+ years sales experience of the desire to go into sales (Must have good job tenure)
Valid driver’s license
Basic office skills
Work in person – not remotely
