Job Summary
The Sr. Director of Digital Experience at Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits is a strategic and visionary leader responsible for shaping and overseeing the digital marketing ecosystem across the company’s expansive portfolio of wine brands. This role owns the strategy and execution of all digital touchpoints, including owned DTC eCommerce, B2B eCommerce and third-party marketplaces, paid and organic media, social media, websites, influencers, and digital partnerships. The ideal candidate combines deep digital expertise with executive presence, creative thinking, and the ability to develop a high-performing team of digital and eCommerce professionals.
As a key member of the marketing leadership team, this role will play a pivotal part in evolving Trinchero’s digital capabilities, building a connected and personalized consumer journey, and delivering measurable business results. This leader must be comfortable driving change, influencing across functions, and inspiring a team to think boldly about digital's role in brand building and commercial success.

Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the development and communication of a comprehensive digital experience roadmap aligned with brand, sales, and business priorities.
- Serve as a digital thought leader within the organization, educating executive leadership and stakeholders on trends, performance, and opportunities.
- Develop a vision for AI adoption and engagement to serve marketing, brand building and eCommerce objectives.
- Champion digital transformation and innovation, continuously identifying new tools, platforms, and approaches.
Team & Talent Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team across digital marketing, media, social, and eCommerce functions.
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and accountable team culture focused on performance and innovation.
- Identify and cultivate talent to build future leadership and expand capabilities as needs evolve.
Channel & Platform Oversight
- Oversee all owned and paid digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business goals.
- Lead strategy and execution for B2C and B2B eCommerce, ensuring an optimized customer/consumer journey and strong conversion performance.
- Lead Digital marketplace strategy, retail media, and digital trade/promotion governance to ensure efficient and consistent use of resources.
- Guide content, social, and influencer marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
Performance & Optimization
- Oversee and effective leverage data analytics to inform data-driven decision making, insight generation, and commercial effectiveness of digital marketing investments.
- Ensure accountability to marketing and commercial effectiveness metrics, including revenue, profit, ROAS, reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Implement best practices across digital disciplines and promote a test-and-learn mindset.
- Establish KPIs and reporting cadence to monitor performance, optimize initiatives, and share insights.
Cross-Functional & Agency Collaboration
- Partner with Brand, Sales, Creative, DTC, IT, and external agencies to ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns.
- Manage agency relationships and scopes of work to ensure alignment with performance expectations and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, including team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven experience leading digital strategy in a multi-brand, omnichannel environment.
- Expertise in digital media, eCommerce, social, content strategy, influencer marketing, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of martech tools and platforms (e.g., CMS, CRM, analytics, email, and media platforms).
- Creative and strategic thinker with excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence executives and align stakeholders across business units.
- Passion for people development and team building.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Experience in wine, beverage alcohol, or CPG industries is highly preferred.
Working Conditions
- In-office Monday – Thursday, option to work remote on Fridays
- Office environment with frequent computer use
- Travel to other Trinchero locations and industry events as required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Compliance with all company safety regulations
Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
