The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Manager to drive our Sales transformation practice at EY Studio+. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with clients across the entire lead-to-cash process, reinventing their sales strategies, operations, processes, and technologies to fuel revenue growth and enhance sales efficiency.
Your involvement will encompass defining key components such as customer segmentation, sales coverage models, and processes leading to the implementation of advanced sales technologies. You will engage in diverse projects that challenge you to solve critical issues and design the future of sales.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of workstreams, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Create and oversee engagement resource planning and budget management.
- Collaborate with client executives to evaluate current sales strategies and processes, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Foster strong client relationships to collect feedback and ensure progress on deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of sales transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops with clients effectively.
- Provide insights on sales strategies, processes, and technology trends relevant to their business model.
- Guide the assessment and implementation of enterprise sales processes and sales technology tools.
- Mentor junior team members, nurturing a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in sales operating models and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in consulting or industries focusing on commercial functions.
- Proven leadership ability and experience managing team workloads effectively.
- Experience in facilitating client-facing workshops and meetings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience using mature judgment in diverse situations.
- Ability to contribute to the design of client projects involving sales strategy and technology.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team building.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Willingness to travel 50-80% domestically and internationally as needed.
Skills for Success
- Collaborative experience in team environments across technology and business functions.
- Understanding of B2B and B2C sales landscapes, including key roles and KPIs.
- Knowledge of best practices in sales processes and technologies for customer-centric solutions.
- Experience in sales program execution that enhances productivity and growth.
- Familiarity with CRM, CPQ, and CLM technologies.
- Experience in overseeing technology sourcing for digital sales transformations.
- A track record of delivering end-to-end technology programs effectively.
- Ability to interact with various levels of client stakeholders, providing strategic insights.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, team-oriented atmosphere, mentoring staff and consultants.
Ideally, You Also Have
- Basic technical understanding of CRM (e.g., Salesforce), CPQ, and CLM technologies.
- Familiarity with AI applications that support sales functions.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Awareness of industry trends to refine sales strategies.
