About the Role

The E-commerce Lead at The Whitaker Group HQ B will spearhead the development and execution of our digital sales strategies within the securities and financial investments sector. This role is pivotal in driving online revenue growth by optimizing e-commerce platforms, enhancing user experience, and integrating innovative financial products into the digital marketplace. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, compliance, and product development to ensure seamless and compliant online transactions. They will analyze market trends and customer data to inform strategic decisions and improve digital engagement. Ultimately, this position aims to establish The Whitaker Group as a leader in digital financial services by delivering a robust, secure, and customer-centric e-commerce experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the financial services or investment industry.
  • Strong understanding of securities, commodity contracts, and financial investment products.
  • Proven experience with digital sales platforms, analytics tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within regulated financial environments with a focus on compliance and risk management.
  • Familiarity with advanced e-commerce technologies such as AI-driven personalization and blockchain applications.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in data analytics software and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of e-commerce initiatives tailored to financial investment products and services.
  • Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to ensure all online offerings meet regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Analyze customer behavior and sales data to optimize the digital sales funnel and improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns that drive traffic and engagement on e-commerce platforms.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and oversee platform maintenance, upgrades, and security protocols.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of e-commerce strategies and report findings to senior leadership.
  • Stay abreast of emerging e-commerce technologies and financial market trends to continuously innovate and enhance the digital customer experience.
