e-Commerce Operations Supervisor
KrogerWe are seeking a motivated and experienced e-Commerce Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our e-Commerce department. In this role, you will aim to achieve our sales objectives and manage a dedicated team of associates. Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven supervisory experience
- Experience in the selection and hiring process
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times throughout the day
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Able to stoop, kneel, or crouch several times per hour
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure our e-Commerce department meets and exceeds customer expectations regarding shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Conduct interviews, select, and hire candidates for the online shopping department.
- Schedule staff and manage product flow to meet demand.
- Develop associates to achieve productivity standards and certify them upon meeting or exceeding goals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Train associates in all functions and duties of the order selector and customer attendant roles.
- Lead initiatives for e-Commerce planning, implementation, and execution.
- Aim to achieve and exceed sales, budget targets, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and respond effectively.
- Ensure timely and effective order fulfillment with requested products or suitable substitutes.
- Implement best practices for managing out-of-stock items and product substitutions.
- Streamline processes for order collection, product handling, checkout, and delivery.
- Timely report inventory issues to department heads.
- Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices as needed.
- Provide operational feedback to store management and e-Commerce leadership.
- Report shelf allocation issues to the KOMPASS team.
- Manage departmental expenses effectively.
- Ensure preventative maintenance on all departmental equipment is performed regularly.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Resolve conflicts in a cooperative and respectful manner.
- Demonstrate integrity with customer and business information.
- Follow directions accurately and seek assistance when necessary.
- Support and assist individuals of all backgrounds, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
