We are seeking a strategic and hands-on E-commerce Marketing Manager to lead the growth of our online sales channels for ornamental landscaping products, koi pond supplies, and outdoor living solutions. This role is responsible for driving digital revenue, optimizing the customer journey, and building a strong online presence that reflects our brand’s expertise in water features, aquatics, and landscape design.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategy to increase online revenue and customer acquisition
- Manage and optimize the company’s e-commerce platform
- Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and KPIs to identify growth opportunities
Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, shopping campaigns)
- Lead SEO strategy to improve organic visibility for pond supplies, koi care products, and landscape materials
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including promotions, lifecycle flows, and customer retention initiatives
- Oversee content marketing efforts such as blogs, how-to guides, and seasonal campaigns
Product & Merchandising
- Optimize product listings with compelling descriptions, images, and SEO keywords
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns (spring pond startups, fall maintenance, etc.)
- Monitor pricing, inventory trends, and competitor activity
Customer Experience
- Improve website UX/UI to enhance conversion rates and reduce cart abandonment
- Collaborate with customer service to ensure a seamless online experience
- Implement personalization and upsell/cross-sell strategies
Brand & Content Development
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Collaborate with design and video teams to create engaging content (pond builds, koi care tips, landscaping transformations)
- Manage social media strategy in alignment with e-commerce goals
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, ROI, and key e-commerce metrics
- Use tools like Google Analytics, heatmaps, and CRM data to inform decisions
- Continuously test and optimize campaigns (A/B testing, landing pages, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–6+ years of experience in e-commerce marketing or digital marketing
- Experience managing e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.)
- Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.)
- Experience with product merchandising and online retail operations
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping, outdoor living, aquatics, gardening, or related industries
- Knowledge of koi pond systems, water features, or horticulture products
- Experience with visual storytelling (photo/video content for outdoor projects)
- Familiarity with seasonal or weather-driven product cycles
