Alexander Technology Group is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology from concept through production, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams on high-performance embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, simulate, test, and document FPGA-based systems
Develop FPGA code using SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL
Troubleshoot and optimize designs for speed, power, and performance
Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration
Build and maintain FPGA development tools and processes
Produce technical documentation and support system integration efforts
Resolve technical issues while meeting project schedules and customer requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
Experience designing FPGA-based systems
Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL
Experience with simulation tools such as ModelSim or Vivado XSim (UVM experience is a plus)
Programming experience with C/C++ and Python
Experience with Git and digital signal processing is preferred
Familiarity with high-speed interfaces including PCIe, Ethernet, Aurora, or Multi-Gigabit SERDES
Experience with AMD/Xilinx Vivado is a plus
Comfortable using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a security clearance is required

This is an on-site role in Manchester, NH

Pay range 140-160K
