Project Manager (Contract) – Digital Marketing
UpworkWe are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the execution of digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, Bing, as well as Display and Programmatic channels.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, keeps teams aligned, and ensures that deliverables move forward efficiently and on time. You’ll play a key role in coordinating work across teams, improving workflows, and maintaining high-quality execution across paid media campaigns.
You will act as the central point of coordination between our Customer Experience team and Paid Media team, helping drive projects from kickoff through completion.
What You’ll Do
Manage and track day-to-day project tasks across multiple digital campaigns
Assign tasks and ensure clear ownership across cross-functional teams and contractors
Monitor progress and proactively follow up to keep work on schedule
Coordinate between the Customer Experience team and Paid Media team to ensure alignment and clarity
Oversee deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality execution
Support execution of campaign-related deliverables across channels
Track timelines, milestones, and dependencies using project management tools (Asana preferred)
Identify workflow inefficiencies and help improve processes over time
What We’re Looking For
Experience managing projects in a digital marketing or advertising environment
Familiarity with paid media channels, including paid social, paid search, and/or display/programmatic
Experience managing remote teams or contractors
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously
Experience with task management tools (Asana preferred; others like Jira, Monday, etc. are acceptable)
Comfortable working cross-functionally with both client-facing and technical teams
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
Nice to Have
Experience working in a digital marketing agency environment
Familiarity with campaign QA and optimization processes

Processes are organized, documented, and continuously improving
Minimal delays due to proactive tracking and communication
