Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support their cloud financial operations function. In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineering, finance, and technology leaders to ensure effective oversight, optimization, and governance of multi?cloud spending.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support their cloud financial operations function. In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineering, finance, and technology leaders to ensure effective oversight, optimization, and governance of multi?cloud spending.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, analyze, and report on cloud spending trends across AWS and Azure
- Identify cloud cost optimization opportunities through rightsizing, discount commitments, and efficiency strategies
- Partner with Finance and Engineering teams to build accurate budgets, forecasts, and spend models
- Develop automated dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to increase visibility into cloud usage and costs
- Establish and strengthen FinOps governance, controls, and best practices
- Communicate insights and recommendations to leadership, translating technical information into business?focused narratives
- Apply innovation, automation, and cloud engineering principles to solve operational challenges
- 4+ years of financial analysis experience within a technology organization
- 2+ years of hands?on Cloud FinOps experience
- 2+ years working with AWS and Azure environments
- 2+ years of customer service or stakeholder support experience
- Strong analytical skills using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Experience with cloud cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer and Azure Cost Management
- Knowledge of FinOps governance, cost optimization approaches, and cost allocation models
- Proficiency with Cloudability, Apptio, or similar cost management platforms
- Prior experience in multi?cloud ecosystems
- Comfortable presenting to executives and senior leadership
- Programming experience in Python
- FinOps Practitioner certification
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or additional cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment
