Role Description

This is a contract position for a Senior SEO Manager, located in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. The Senior SEO Manager will be responsible for conducting comprehensive SEO audits, developing and implementing effective keyword strategies, building high-quality backlinks, and monitoring web analytics to assess performance and opportunities. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO strategies with overarching business objectives, staying abreast of industry trends to ensure cutting-edge SEO practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting SEO Audits and analyzing website performance
• Expertise in Keyword Research and identifying high-value opportunities
• Experience in implementing effective Link Building strategies
• Strong skills in Web Analytics to track, analyze, and improve SEO performance
• Background in Marketing to align SEO activities with broader promotional strategies
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Analytics
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience as a Senior SEO Specialist or similar role is a plus
