E-Commerce Integration and Support Specialist - Apply

About the role

The role is responsible for delivering end to end technical, functional, and product support for the Merchant Acquiring E commerce business. Reporting to the Manager- Merchant Acquiring, this position works closely with cross functional teams including IT, Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and external vendors to ensure seamless merchant onboarding, integrations, and ongoing support while meeting defined service level agreements (SLAs).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead end to end integration of e commerce platforms, payment gateways, and merchant APIs with the bank’s acquiring systems.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure smooth and timely merchant onboarding.
  • Serve as a key technical support point for merchants using the bank’s e commerce acquiring solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions for merchants and internal stakeholders on integration processes, system usage, and best practices.
  • Provide post integration support and ongoing services to existing merchants.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, and Business teams to enhance merchant and customer experience across digital channels.
  • Ensure all merchant integrations and processes comply with UAE Central Bank regulations, and internal security policies.
  • Safeguard data privacy, transaction integrity, and system security across all platforms.
  • Prepare regular reports on transaction volumes, system uptime, merchant performance, and SLA adherence.
  • Analyze merchant and customer feedback to recommend continuous improvements to systems and processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands on experience in e commerce integration, merchant acquiring, or digital payments.
  • Industry: Strong experience working with payment gateways, merchant platforms, and digital transaction ecosystems.
  • Working knowledge of UAE banking regulations, digital payment standards, and compliance requirements.

Skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Strong focus on identifying inefficiencies in onboarding and support workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, payment gateways, and digital transaction flows.
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML/JSON, and integration or monitoring tools.
  • Skilled at balancing merchant requirements with internal risk, security, and regulatory expectations.
  • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
  • Collect payments whether in cash or credit
  • Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
  • Redeem stamps and coupons
  • Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
  • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
  • Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
