The Senior Media Manager reports directly to the VP, Media.

The Senior Media Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing multiple clients’ media campaigns—from planning and budgeting to execution, monitoring, optimization, and reporting. This role requires deep expertise in Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Paid Social and Programmatic advertising, coupled with strong client-facing and team leadership skills.

You will act as the day-to-day client liaison, ensuring campaigns deliver against business goals while upholding our agency’s values and pillars. The Senior Media Manager partners closely with the VP, Media, who provides ongoing mentorship, training, and professional development.

REQUIREMENTS

● 6+ years of agency experience managing and leading digital media campaigns across both performance and branding objectives.

● Extensive hands-on experience in campaign setup, management, and optimization across multiple platforms.

● Strong expertise in SEM (Google Ads), Meta Ads Manager, and DV360.

● Proven experience integrating and leveraging GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for accurate tracking, measurement, and performance optimization.

● Advanced knowledge of GA4, Looker Studio, and other reporting/analytics tools across media channels.

● Demonstrated success in client-facing presentations and overall account management.

● Proficient in campaign budgeting, financial reconciliation, and billing processes.

● Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work after hours when required to meet client deadlines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

● Lead digital media activities (SEM, Social, Display, Video, Audio, Connected TV, and OOH) for assigned clients.

● Act as the primary point of contact for client communications, presentations, and reporting.

● Develop comprehensive media plans aligned with client objectives, including channel strategy, audience targeting, budget allocation, and flighting.

● Execute and manage media buying across platforms, ensuring efficient spend, optimal placements, and maximum ROI.

● Oversee campaign setup, execution, and ongoing optimization to achieve both performance and branding objectives.

● Generate estimates in Clients & Profits and manage client media billing, budget controls, and financial reconciliations.

● Upsell and cross-sell services by identifying opportunities for incremental budgets aligned with client goals.

● Utilize research tools (e.g., Vividata) to analyze audience segments and support strategic media planning and rationalization.

● Provide strategic POVs, data-driven recommendations, and detailed post-campaign analysis with actionable insights.

● Monitor campaign pacing, performance, and delivery to ensure alignment with KPIs and budget allocations.

● Collaborate with vendors and media partners to negotiate rates, added value, and optimize buying efficiencies.

● Support new business initiatives by contributing to pitches, media strategies, and proposal development.

● Assist in the planning and execution of traditional TV campaigns, including coordination with broadcasters, scheduling, and performance tracking.

● Support training and development of junior media staff while continuing to learn from senior leadership.

Client demands on occasion will dictate that work be done after hours. Where, due to the external time limits imposed by our clients, it is necessary to work in excess of the regular hours to service the clients.
