Role Overview
We are looking for a data-driven, results-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Klaviyo and Shopify to join our performance marketing team. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and retention through email marketing, automation flows, segmentation strategies, and performance optimization—all tailored for ecommerce brands.
This role is ideal for someone with sharp technical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of how to grow and retain audiences in the DTC space.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Marketing Campaigns (Klaviyo):
Plan, build, and execute email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo. This includes newsletters, product drops, editorial sends, seasonal offers, and post-purchase communication.
- Automation & Flow Management:
Set up and optimize automation flows including welcome series, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, win-back, and post-purchase nurturing to drive conversions and improve retention.
- Segmentation & Personalization:
Develop smart customer segmentation strategies based on behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stage. Personalize campaigns to increase open rates, CTRs, and revenue per recipient.
- Shopify Integration & Store Optimization:
Manage Klaviyo-Shopify integrations. Ensure all tracking events (purchases, views, checkouts) are firing correctly. Coordinate with design and dev teams to optimize site performance and user journey.
- Performance Reporting & Insights:
Monitor campaign KPIs including open rates, click-through, conversion, revenue attribution, and unsubscribe rates. Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- A/B Testing & Optimization:
Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, send times, and layouts. Use data to continually refine strategy and maximize performance.
- Cross-Channel Coordination:
Work alongside social, paid media, and content teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategy across platforms. Leverage insights from other channels to inform email targeting and creative.
- Growth Strategy & Recommendations:
Identify opportunities to improve LTV, reduce churn, and increase engagement. Contribute to holistic digital strategies for ecommerce clients across email, CRM, and on-site engagement.
- Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure all campaigns comply with global email regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform updates and best practices.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of digital marketing experience, with a strong focus on email marketing and ecommerce.
- Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo, including automation, segmentation, analytics, and A/B testing.
- Working knowledge of Shopify (store setup, product tagging, event tracking, app integrations).
- Proven track record of improving customer retention, increasing email-driven revenue, and scaling flows.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Meta Ads, or other ecommerce analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn insights into strategy.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle DTC brands is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
