As the Customer Service and E-Commerce Lead, you will oversee key programs related to customer service and online grocery orders at our location. Your focus will be on ensuring an excellent checkout experience, effective grocery delivery and pickup, and enhancing the overall productivity of our team. You will track performance metrics and support the daily operations, making sure that processes run smoothly to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer experiences and hold the team accountable for outstanding service.
  • Set clear expectations for balancing in-store customer service with online order fulfillment.
  • Monitor customer flow both in-store and online; assign tasks appropriately to meet customer demands.
  • Stay informed about competitors and trends in the grocery industry.
  • Respond effectively to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Cultivate supportive relationships with team leaders and delivery partners.
  • Encourage teamwork and maintain high morale among team members.
  • Uphold safety and security standards for all Team Members.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health standards.
  • Develop and motivate Team Members to sustain a high-performing team.
  • Keep workspaces organized and clean, including staging areas and coolers.
  • Ensure equipment security and manage tools efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements proactively.
  • Consistently model and communicate Whole Foods Market's core values and leadership principles.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to manage tasks while balancing multiple customer flows.

  • Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and other operational tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months of retail experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours during a shift.
  • Frequent hand use for tasks involving grasping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach as necessary.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning products.
  • Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, including cold and wet environments.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience using tools and equipment such as box cutters and pallet jacks.

The pay range for this position is $19.50-$30.20 per hour, based on experience. Whole Foods Market also offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, and paid time off. Benefits eligibility is determined based on the terms of the applicable plan at the time of hire.
