Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust backend services and APIs for the e-commerce platform. Optimize website performance, speed, and reliability to enhance user experience and conversion rates. Integrate third-party applications and services (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers, marketing tools). Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the e-commerce stack. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical roadmap planning. Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained throughout the platform. Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise within the team. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in e-commerce and web development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on e-commerce platforms. Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) is a plus. Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile environments.
