Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Fulfillment Specialist to manage and optimize their online order fulfillment processes. This is a fully remote position, requiring you to work from your own dedicated workspace. You will be responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This includes managing inventory levels, coordinating with shipping partners, and troubleshooting any fulfillment-related issues that may arise. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, inventory management systems, and logistics. You will oversee the entire order lifecycle, from order placement to final delivery. This involves closely monitoring incoming orders, ensuring correct items are picked and packed, and verifying shipping details. You will also be responsible for managing returns and exchanges, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. Developing and implementing strategies to improve fulfillment efficiency, reduce shipping costs, and minimize errors will be key. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the end-to-end e-commerce order fulfillment process. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct picking and packing. Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments. Troubleshoot and resolve any fulfillment-related issues or delays. Manage returns, exchanges, and customer service inquiries related to orders. Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment processes and reduce costs. Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments. Ensure compliance with company policies and e-commerce best practices. Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and shipping partners.

Qualifications

Proven experience in e-commerce order fulfillment or logistics. Familiarity with inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with shipping software and carrier portals. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
