Position Overview

Our client, a prestigious portfolio of luxury beauty brands, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Digital Marketing to lead their online presence and drive e-commerce growth. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage target audiences, and maximize online sales conversions. You will be instrumental in shaping the digital narrative of our esteemed brands and ensuring a seamless customer journey across all digital touchpoints. This role is based at our headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, US and requires a strong on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a holistic digital marketing strategy encompassing SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, influencer marketing, and affiliate programs.
  • Manage and optimize the e-commerce platform, ensuring a best-in-class user experience and driving online revenue growth.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of compelling digital content, including website copy, social media posts, blog articles, and video campaigns tailored to luxury beauty consumers.
  • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze website traffic, campaign performance, and customer data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices within the beauty industry and luxury sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand management, creative, IT, and sales, to ensure alignment and integrated execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Report on key digital marketing metrics and campaign performance to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within the beauty or luxury goods industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving e-commerce sales and managing online brand presence for premium brands.
  • Expertise in all facets of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, content, email, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Creative thinker with a strong analytical mindset.
