Reports To: Nolan Rodman, President

Employment Type: Full-Time

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week (subject to change based on business needs; increased hours may be required during key sales periods and campaigns)

Position Overview

Rodman’s is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven professional to serve as Head of Marketing and Content Development. This individual will be responsible for leading all facets of our marketing efforts—including digital content, in-store promotions, email campaigns, social media, and pharmacy marketing.

This role will serve as the creative director of brand storytelling. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing strategy, e-commerce or digital platforms, content creation, and team/project management. This person must be able to generate compelling marketing content, optimize customer engagement, and drive store and brand visibility—both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for Rodman’s—including food, alcohol, pharmacy, and housewares departments
  • Manage multi-channel marketing efforts: email campaigns, social media content, print ads, and in-store signage
  • Coordinate targeted marketing for the pharmacy, including flu clinics, vaccinations, prescription services, and other healthcare offerings
  • Track effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies based on analytics and ROI

Brand & Content Development

  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels
  • Write and manage marketing copy for web, print, social, and promotional materials
  • Collaborate with store managers and department heads to highlight promotions, events, and product features
  • Maintain a seasonal marketing calendar across departments

Operational & Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work with vendors and internal buyers to promote seasonal products and weekly deals
  • Support special events, community outreach, or partnership programs when relevant
  • Develop templates and guidelines for marketing SOPs, ensuring long-term consistency and clarity
  • Create workflows to allow marketing efforts to scale across stores and departments

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, digital strategy, or web development
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong writing, design sensibility, and communication skills
  • Understanding of retail environments and customer behavior is a major plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and performance marketing a plus
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in social media marketing

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year
