Ecommerce Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising, promotional, and content strategies to boost sales.
- Efficiently operate within the Magento eCommerce platform.
- Maintain fresh, fully developed, and expertly edited web content that is SEO-optimized and supplemented with high-quality images and videos as needed.
- Ensure new pages are user-friendly and properly linked with existing pages.
- Build the web assortment presentation under the direction of the Director, managing SKUs, product copy, images, and other product attributes.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues and develop automated website features.
- Optimize web content for end-user performance, which may include reformatting text, assuring hyperlink integrity, transferring and translating files, and posting new material to the page involving HTML scripting.
- Utilize SEO and SEM analytics to optimize page content, metadata, keywords, and layout.
- Identify and rectify content problems, including broken links, typographical errors, and formatting inconsistencies. Compile, analyze, and report statistics regarding all relevant website metrics.
- Proficiently cross-reference with MS Excel to mine voluminous data for specific details and upload information onto prescribed databases.
- Ensure new pages are user-friendly and properly linked with existing pages.
Additional Duties
- Collaborate cross-functionally with graphics/editing experts and photographers to create, update, and manage products, photographs, promotions, content, and storefront taxonomy and data.
- Identify trends and category highlights for banners, emails, and social media using Google Analytics, sales reports, and consumer studies.
- Manage the monthly editorial calendar, overseeing seasonal product processes, email deployment, promotions, and site enhancements.
- Collaborate on a universal content strategy across social media platforms, blogs, and search marketing.
Experience and Qualifications
- Understanding of the disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites (email marketing, link generation, SEO, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience working with major Ecommerce platforms.
- Experience with the tools needed to manage and display content.
- Excellent written skills with knowledge of jewelry terms.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Working knowledge of the Magento CMS platform.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement. Willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
