SEO Analyst and Project Manager

This is a multifaceted position involving content writing, client management, and strategy related to Search Engine Optimization. This position requires previous office experience and the ability to talk intelligently with a client. We are looking for someone located within a reasonable commute from Troy, MI, as this is an on-site position.

THE POSITION: We define a "Content Marketing Associate" as a multitasker with a strong background in writing and an ability to converse with our clients who are multimillionaire owners of independent businesses. This is an important position in the agency as you will be involved in the day-to-day management of about 8-10 clients located throughout the country. This includes content marketing, digital and social media, client contact, and project management. This does require a level of maturity, as well as familiarity with an office environment.

THE TYPICAL DAY: With the help of our project management system, Notion, you will be responsible for the management of your accounts with the goal of getting each client more sales leads for the profitability of their businesses. Your success is tied to the number of leads the clients receive from their websites each week.

WHO SUCCEEDS: This is a position that requires the ability to multitask and the discipline to stay on top of your tasks. You must love writing and be prepared to write new website pages, blogs, social media posts, and scripts for our videos, as well as emails, owner strategy meeting notes, and letters for our clients. Our business is now 90% Internet, 10% traditional.

REQUIREMENTS

• English composition skills are vital. All content is researched in several of the most technical SEO and content databases in the world. We only do world-class work!
• A college degree is encouraged, however equivalent work experience is accepted.
• Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets is helpful.
• Proficiency in touch typing is required and will be tested; that is to say, you must be able to type without looking at the keyboard.

A short English composition writing sample will be given to all who are invited to interview in person. Note that this is a non-smoking and drug-free workplace.
