You should be strategic, data-driven, and comfortable working in a startup environment where impact matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy (technical, on-page, and off-page)
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping
• Optimize website structure, metadata, content, and internal linking
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (Core Web Vitals, indexing, crawlability, site speed)
• Create or guide SEO-optimized content strategies
• Build and manage ethical backlink strategies
• Track performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
• Provide clear reporting and actionable insights to leadership

Requirements

• Proven experience in SEO growth for startups, SaaS, e-commerce, or service businesses
• Strong understanding of Google search algorithms and best practices
• Experience with technical SEO and content optimization
• Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results
• For agencies: ability to assign a dedicated point of contact

Nice to Have

• Experience scaling SEO from early-stage to growth stage
• CRO, content marketing, or paid search knowledge
• Experience working with developers and product teams
• Industry-specific SEO experience (optional)
