Job Description The Associate Category Manager (ACM) will support the Senior Category Manager in leading sourcing, category management, and supplier performance across the full spectrum of Marketing and Sales spend. This includes hands-on involvement with key marketing categories such as media, creative, production, sponsorships, experiential, digital marketing, localization, content creation, research, and Martech. The role may also support Sales categories related to distribution partners and eCommerce operations. Ideal candidates bring direct experience working within or supporting marketing organizations, with exposure to multiple marketing disciplines and how they connect to business outcomes. Sales operations knowledge—especially within distribution, customer engagement, or digital commerce—is a valuable plus. The Associate Category Manager plays a critical role in optimizing how the organization invests across marketing and sales. By driving strategic sourcing, elevating supplier performance, and improving operational efficiency, this role directly supports business growth, brand impact, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities Marketing Category Management Support end-to-end category strategies for all major marketing disciplines: Media Creative development and production Sponsorships, partnerships, and experiential activation Localization, transcreation, and content adaptation Digital marketing, social, influencers, and performance marketing Marketing research, insights, and analytics Marketing technology (Martech) platforms and services Assist in the development of sourcing strategies, value frameworks, and supplier recommendations. Evaluate scopes of work, pricing models, rate cards, and performance-based compensation structures. Support cost optimization while protecting creativity, brand consistency, and speed-to-market. Sales Category Support Assist in sourcing and managing suppliers supporting Sales functions including: Support the development and execution of category strategies across Sales categories, including: Distribution and channel partners Call centers, customer service, and customer engagement operations eCommerce support (digital shelf, site operations, fulfillment partners) Retail merchandising, field sales support, and activation services Sales enablement technology and platforms Evaluate operating models, staffing requirements, SLA structures, and quality performance. Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Management Lead or support RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract development. Conduct spend analysis and market assessments to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing strategies align with brand and commercial priorities. Supplier & Performance Management Manage day-to-day supplier interactions across marketing and sales categories. Track performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual commitments. Support quarterly business reviews, performance scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Analytics, Reporting & Governance Prepare dashboards, spend reports, savings tracking, and executive summaries. Maintain category documentation, contract files, renewal calendars, and procurement playbooks. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, finance requirements, and business processes. Cross-Functional Partnership Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to deliver aligned strategies and smooth project execution. Support change management related to procurement processes, supplier transitions, and new operating models. Qualifications Required 3-5 years of experience in procurement, marketing operations, category management, or related roles. Hands-on and demonstrable experience supporting multiple marketing categories (media, creative, sponsorships, digital, production, or similar). Strong analytical and commercial skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Atlanta, Georgia is: $76,700-$105,500.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
