Summary
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Business Execution. Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking. Provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Business Execution business solutions. Strategically engage with client personnel. Required Qualifications: Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory & Thought Leadership
- Act as a strategic advisor and consultant for highly complex business and technical initiatives within Business Execution.
- Develop, influence, and operationalize multi‑year strategies for large, complex organizations.
- Translate ambiguous, incomplete, or conflicting inputs into structured, fact‑based, and actionable strategic outcomes.
- Design and articulate strategy frameworks, including vision, North Star, strategic themes, roadmaps, and value levers.
Executive Engagement & Communication
- Interface directly with senior leaders and domain experts, including executive leadership.
- Create executive‑ready narratives, decks, and decision materials that clearly communicate strategy, trade‑offs, and recommendations.
- Synthesize input from diverse stakeholders into clear, concise leadership messaging.
Complex Problem Solving & Decision Support
- Lead the resolution of highly complex, multi‑faceted challenges requiring advanced analytical, inductive, and creative thinking.
- Evaluate options, impacts, and trade‑offs to support strategic decision making.
- Provide expert guidance on long‑term, large‑scale solutions that require innovation and vision.
Strategy Execution & Integration (Strongly Desired)
- Support integration planning, initiative sequencing, and roadmap development.
- Help manage execution through governance structures, dependency management, and performance tracking.
- Ensure strategic intent is preserved as initiatives move from strategy into delivery.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate across business, technology, risk, operations, and controls.
- Influence, guide, and coach less‑experienced strategy and execution staff.
- Operate independently while driving outcomes in complex, evolving environments with limited direction.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Business Execution, Strategic Planning, Implementation, or Consulting, or equivalent experience gained through work, education, training, or military service.
- Prior consulting background strongly preferred, especially experience managing multiple initiatives or products simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments.
Strategy & Strategic Planning
- Proven track record of developing and operationalizing multi‑year strategies.
- Strong capability in:
- Strategy design and frameworks
- Structuring ambiguous problems
- Building fact‑based, coherent strategic narratives
Payments & Financial Services Domain (Preferred)
- Domain experience in payments or financial services strongly preferred.
- Examples include ACH, wires, instant payments, investigations, servicing, or controls.
- Working understanding of operational, regulatory, and risk considerations in financial services.
Executive Communication & Storytelling
- Exceptional ability to craft executive‑level presentations and written materials.
- Strong storytelling skills to communicate complex topics clearly and persuasively.
- Comfort interacting directly with senior leaders and facilitating decision discussions.
Analytical & Synthesis Skills
- Ability to synthesize disparate data, viewpoints, and context into clear recommendations.
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
Execution & Ways of Working (Desired)
- Experience or familiarity with:
- Execution governance
- Roadmaps and dependency management
- Progress and performance tracking
- Strong collaboration skills across functions.
- Comfortable operating in highly complex, fast‑moving environments with evolving priorities.
