About the Pastoral Residency Program
The Transformation Church Pastoral Residency Program is designed to equip emerging leaders for pastoral roles, with a focus on holistic ministry development, theological formation, and multiethnic, multigenerational leadership. Residents will gain hands-on experience across all Transformation Church ministries and operations while being mentored by seasoned leaders.
Program Goals
- Immerse in Transformation Church's vision, values, beliefs, and holy habits
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of church operations and ministry contexts
- Engage in theological studies and practical ministry leadership
- Serve within multiethnic, multigenerational communities
- Prepare for pastoral leadership roles
Key Responsibilities
Residents will
- Learn about the preparation and delivery of sermons and teachings
- Develop a Christ-centered and healthy inner life through prayer, study, and mentorship
- Serve in a variety of ministry areas within a multiethnic and multigenerational context
- Attend leadership and theological training sessions
- Support event planning, program development, and volunteer/servant leader coordination
- Collaborate with pastors, staff, and servant leaders in furtherance of ministry goals
Desired Qualifications
- A strong sense of calling to pastoral ministry
- Commitment to the vision, values, and beliefs of Transformation Church
- Desire to learn and grow in a multiethnic, multigenerational church environment
- A Master's degree from an accredited theological institution or an equivalent combination of education and ministry experience is necessary
- Strong relational, communication, and organizational skills
