SOCiPosition: Digital Marketing Consultant (SEO)
SOCi, the leader in AI-powered marketing solutions for multi-location businesses, is currently looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Consultant to serve as a consultative resource to key Enterprise-level customers, guiding them through specialized service packages in various domains (e.g. SEO, Social Medial, etc). This position supports customers by delivering competitive analysis and insights, content evaluation, and best practice recommendations as per customer contracts.
The Digital Marketing Consultant is responsible for regularly monitoring performance of their assigned accounts, collaborating closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for optimization across their assigned Book of Business (BoB). Additionally, this role will also contribute to special projects and internal initiatives, supporting the broader consulting strategy with prescriptive analysis, recurring updates and best practices.
SOCi expects to pay a base salary in the range of $60,000 - $80,000 CAD plus bonus. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support an assigned book of business by delivering domain-specific analysis (e.g.SEO, Social Media, etc) and recommendations aligned to SOCi’s packaged services.
- Participate in customer meetings alongside CSMs to offer prescriptive analysis and insights on performance, updates, and best practices.
- Build best practice materials based on established industry guidance.
- Monitor domain-specific performance for assigned accounts (e.g. SEO, Social Media, etc), flagging trends and surfacing opportunities to improve visibility.
- Collaborate with internal partners to design effective programs that support customer goals and business objectives.
- Provide tailored content and on-page recommendations - such as titles, descriptions, and alt text - based on established guidelines.
- Document and escalate technical concerns, as they arise, to the appropriate internal resource.
- Assist in troubleshooting customer escalations as needed.

What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Hybrid Opportunity: This role is fully remote until our downtown Vancouver, BC or downtown Toronto, ON office is established. Once the office is in place, it will transition to a hybrid model, with a 50/50 split between remote and in-office work.
- Must Have:
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional SEO or Social Media experience, or other relevant experience in creating and/or implementing SEO or Social Media plans and strategies
- Organized and detail oriented
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets experience
- Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Google Analytics experience
- Ability to multitask
- Familiar with all Microsoft’s business programs / Google suite
- Takes initiative and strong at following up
- Exceptional customer advocate and internal ambassador
- Experience in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong understanding of technical SEO (ex. sitemaps, canonicalization, Schema.org, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization)
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies ( e.g. agile/ scrum ) and ticketing platforms ( e.g. Jira ) a plus
