The SAP ERP Transformation - Plan to Sustain is a critical role responsible for driving enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives that enhance business processes and achieve operational excellence. This position requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership capabilities, and in-depth expertise in ERP systems and implementation methodologies.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for Aftermarket process development and SAP ERP integration.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Aftermarket processes into the SAP ERP system, aligning capabilities with business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with VPs and senior leaders regarding project status, benefits, and strategic implications.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to changes in Aftermarket MRO tool execution processes.
  • Ensure Aftermarket process maps align with industry best practices and meet the specific needs of RTX business units.
  • Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the successful adoption of new systems and processes by Aftermarket teams.
  • Utilize SAP S4 technology to identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization.
  • Manage relationships with SAP ERP vendors to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
  • Proactively address risks associated with SAP ERP implementations, maintaining compliance with regulations and data security standards.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of SAP S4 initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

As part of the Aftermarket Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) Plan to Sustain team, the Senior ERP Manager will lead complex ERP projects aligned with RTX's business transformation goals.

Core responsibilities include defining project scope, managing comprehensive project plans, budgets, and ensuring the on-time delivery of key milestones. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.

The ideal candidate will leverage SAP implementation expertise to identify inefficiencies, recommend best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong skills in risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement are essential to ensure project success. Additionally, this role involves fostering teamwork, mentoring project teams, and promoting a collaborative environment that supports knowledge sharing, innovation, and accountability. Regular updates to executive leadership will be required, focusing on accomplishments, challenges, and strategic recommendations

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience leading large-scale project and complex initiatives relating to Aftermarket operations, SAP ERP systems, and related fields.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and providing regular project updates to executive leaders.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Proven leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Role Type: Remote

This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
