Digital Marketing Specialist - AV10-19815441

Our local museum client is looking for a Digital Media Specialist to help support the team for maternity leave coverage. This role aims to enhance brand visibility and engagement through strategic email and social media campaigns.

This is a full 40 hours/week role with going onsite 3 days a week in Seattle, WA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Social Media Management

Write, schedule, and publish posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Monitor engagement and respond as appropriate

Coordinate with internal teams to review/approve program-related posts

Maintain the editorial calendar and ensure timely execution

Email Marketing

Build, schedule, and send emails

Use Mailchimp and the email builder (Befree)

Coordinate with internal teams to gather content and approvals

Manage multiple campaigns and timelines simultaneously

Blog Content (Light Editing + Coordination)

Edit and prepare blog content tied to newsletters

Write basic SEO titles/descriptions and alt text

Coordinate with the web manager to publish posts

Digital Advertising Coordination

Provide support for ongoing digital advertising efforts as needed

General Communications Support

Handle incoming requests (images, basic PR coordination, etc.)

Support overall communications workflow during a high-volume period

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital media, with a focus on email and social campaigns.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
