Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, creating, executing, and analyzing social content that aligns with our brand vision and business goals.

This position requires a strong balance of creativity and organization. The ideal candidate is not only an excellent content creator, but also highly detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable collaborating cross-functionally to understand product priorities and translate them into compelling social storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Calendar Management

  • Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive social media content calendar that aligns with posting cadence, campaigns, and business priorities.
  • Ensure all social postings are planned, documented, scheduled, and paired with the appropriate calendar entries.
  • Create brand-centric content based on in-season initiatives while identifying and filling content gaps with strategically planned posts.

Content Creation & Execution

  • Create and curate high-quality content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others as needed.
  • Produce engaging visuals and written content including graphics, videos, photography, and captions that align with brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Capture and edit photography and video content for social and broader marketing use.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with internal teams (Marketing, Sales and E-Commerce) to understand product launches, key items, and campaign goals.
  • Translate product knowledge and brand storytelling into thoughtful, intentional social content.

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Own social media performance tracking, including engagement, reach, follower growth, and conversions.
  • Analyze data to inform content decisions and optimize performance.
  • Prepare regular performance recaps and insights to share with leadership, highlighting wins, learnings, and opportunities.

Community & Brand Management

  • Monitor, manage, and respond to comments and direct messages to maintain a positive brand presence.
  • Support initiatives by amplifying influencer content and brand mentions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and community members.

Additional Support

  • Assist the Marketing Director and Marketing Coordinator with sample management for photoshoots, image renaming, and asset organization.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience managing brand social media accounts and creating original content.
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience working with content calendars and campaign planning.
  • Proficiency in photography, video, and graphic design for social platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with paid social platforms.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize social media content for search engines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for brand building and a strong interest in fashion and fine jewelry space.

Pay Range

  • Pay Range:$52,000–$57,000 annually, inclusive of one hour of daily overtime/$21-23/hour, non-exempt, paid in accordance with CA wage & hour laws

Schedule

  • Full-time, on-site Monday–Friday 8-5:30 (1 hour daily overtime)
  • Occasional overtime during peak periods
